What is a Life Coach?

A life coach is a trained professional who guides individuals to make and meet and surpass goals, both personal and professional. The role of a life coach is to support clients to realise and harness their own unique strengths and abilities, through utilising psychological principles and resources.

Through mindset work and practical skill development, life coaches are there to move out of your comfort zone, help you overcome challenges you might be facing, improve your self-confidence and start adopting healthy habits. Our goal is to help empower you to take control of your own life again.

How can a Life Coach help me with weight loss?

Coaches utilise techniques to help their clients in all aspects of life – whether it be in business, relationships, lifestyle, performance, and health…including weight loss.

A coach acts as a removed party who can help you view things logically and pragmatically. Improvement is at the heart of life coaching, and through a series of questions and exercises, a coach can help guide you through a road map to success. Setting goals, mindset work, diet and exercise goals, motivation, and accountability all fall under areas that a life coach can help with in regard to weight loss.

Life coaches work with the individual and ensure they do not implement a one size fits all approach. It is unique to you, and all strategies are optimised to help you succeed. elp you succeed!

What happens during a session?

Coaching sessions last one hour and can be conducted over zoom. The first coaching session is an initial assessment of where you are at in your life and where you feel your struggles are. During this session, we will ask questions about your current state and your future goals to help get a broad view, which can then be turned into a roadmap to move forward with.

All follow up sessions are aimed to progressing your forward and improving your life, through module and resource work and coaching conversations. Each session will introduce you to new techniques and strategies that you can implement immediately in your own life.  There may also be work assigned to you to do outside of the coaching session.

Inside a coaching session is a safe and confidential space for you to share within, and you will not be pressured to make any decisions that do not feel right for you. This is purely a partnership between two people with the aim to make positive changes in your life and help you feel supported and encouraged succeed!

How many coaching sessions will I need?

At head coach we believe that it takes time to learn and integrate the lessons you are taught, in order to create lasting and sustainable change. For this reason, we recommend no less than 8 coaching sessions (spread across 8 or 16 weeks depending on the program) I believe this is the right amount of time to build trust and connection with yourself through this program.

Do I need to live in same place to have coaching with Head Coach?

No, my coaching is open to everyone regardless of location. I conduct my group and private coaching over Zoom each week so it is accessible to all.

Zoom coaching is just as effective as in-person coaching, as it is still very personal and can even help ease the burden in your own life as it is time-efficient.

Are results guaranteed?

At the end of the day, you get out what you put in. Head Coach strives to create programs that allow for success both inside and outside of the program, so that once your coaching period ends you can continue to succeed.

If you open yourself up to the coaching, take the strategies and lessons seriously and dedicate yourself to getting results, you will see a great transformation.

What happens on a connection call?

A connection call is a short, free, no-obligation call which gives you an opportunity to meet your coach and see if you are a good fit. You can ask questions about the coaching, find out what to expect and  relay any concerns that you might have. You will not be pressured to making any decision on the call if you do not wish to.

We believe it is important to find the right coach for you, so taking this free opportunity can help get you one step closer.

I am feeling nervous. Is that normal?

Seeking support from someone new is always going to make you nervous at first. It can take a lot of vulnerability to open up to someone you don’t know and share personal details of your life, including aspirations.

At Head Coach, we create a safe, judgment-free zone where everyone feels able to share. All personal issues and concerns are welcomed, and we are here to ease your mind and make you feel supported in moving forward in your life.
