How good are you at prioritising what is truly important to you?
At first look, you might believe that you are in fact quite good at this. Maybe this shows up in your life as always being on top of your housework or hitting your goals within your workplace.
But what about your health? Can you honestly say the same when it comes to your habits and routines that support your sense of wellbeing?
Sometimes when life gets busy, things fall to the wayside. And oftentimes that is our diet and exercise.
When you zoom out and take a look at your life, you can more clearly see that if we aren’t looking after our health, none of the other stuff really matters. If we aren’t healthy and well in our own bodies, it doesn’t set a very strong foundation for anything else in our life.
I can hear you say, "but I am so busy, how will I fit all of these healthy habits into my life?".
Well, the answer is simple - you need to prioritize it.
If you think about it, where you direct your awareness, your money, and your time, directly reflects what you value in that moment. So if you are constantly prioritizing everything else before your health, it essentially means you don’t value your health.
If you are saying to yourself right now, "no that’s not true, I do value my health" well it’s time to take action. It’s time to get your priorities in order so that you CAN achieve your goals.
Maybe that looks like waking up a little earlier to exercise or prepare meals for the day. Maybe it looks like not sitting in front of the tv and instead of meditating or working on your mindset. This will look different for all of us depending on our lifestyle, but the point is that you NEED to prioritize your health and wellness or you will never get anywhere.
